Shit
I wrote the note and took the photo below (and the one after the jump) on Friday before I left work.
I figured I'd be nice to the other males in my office building and leave a little note so that they are aware. Common sense would dictate that the cleaning crew that comes in over the weekend would see the note and do something about it. Well I just entered the bathroom a couple of moments ago, only to find my note is still there and still pointing to the shit on the door handle.

Return of the El Diablo Diablo
Some of you (yeah right, no one reads this damn thing) might remember an old post about a Lamborghini Diablo that had been ruined with some crappy vinyl. Well technically you can remove the vinyl so it isn't really ruined, but you get the idea. I called it the "El Diablo Diablo".
Well a couple of weeks back at a Harley dealership (post on the motorcycle show to come) I was walking across the parking lot when I saw it again, followed by a C4 Vette with a crappy color changing paint job.

Found this in a parking lot near work: WANT
Well I don't want it in this condition. But I saw it and just imagined it pristine (and without the cloth top), low and purring with a nice big cube Hemi under the hood. I like the front end most. There were only two years for this style 73 and 74. The tail lights in the bumper have to go though. More pics after the jump and some scans of the brochures from back in the day with a special edition that I like. It's a Plymouth Satellite by the way.
A brochure scan from the 73 model.
And the Sundance Edition. I like the stripe along the side leading to the roof and the interior is not that bad (of course I like retro plaid) but the vinyl near the hood has to go.

Real Smart...
I knew these were coming to the US and this is the second one I've seen around town. Little guy is surprisingly affordable starting at about $12k for a basic "Pure" model and about $15k for the "Passion" model which has just about every option you'd want short of the 6 disc CD changer and leather seats. This one is a Passion Convertible.
Found for sale in a thrift store
I love thrift stores/goodwill stores. You find all kinds of cool old shit in them and it's a pretty good source for random vintage t-shirts. Well sometimes you find art...
and here is one piece of such art. I almost bought it.

Was running errands...
...while at work and heading North on 75 when all of a sudden traffic comes to a standstill. And wouldn't you know it, sitting there right in the middle lane is half a four door Honda Civic.

The bus
The owner had a remote control on the horn (which was an air powered train horn) so that when people stuck their head inside he'd blare it. Hilarious.

All the rest at the impromptu car show
Twin Turbo Vette. Not a fan of Vettes but I love engines and turbochargers even more so.
A 60's vintage Dodge Phoenix.
Mmmmm... Wagon.
Not a Camaro fan either, but I like forced induction.
Lots of rubber.
I hear his dream is to work on a Ferrari.
Turbocharged Delorean complete with Back to the Future memorabilia.
Not a Chevy fan (in case you don't know by now I like imports and Mopar) but I respect hard work and craftsmanship and this car was just plain clean.
Jeepster.
The only bike of the show was parked on the grass on your way out.
Found in the parking lot.
Despite the fact that convertibles don't equal performance it happens to be a love of mine.
One of a few imports at the show. Others were a Mazdaspeed 3 and a few Civics that think 20's and a crappy paint job equal show car.
